Airnimals on the run!

AIRNIMAL RAMPAGE PROMO

The Airnimal Chameleon is renowned for its fine performance and its versatility. Used by commuters, tourists and high performance riders, the Chameleon also features a simple, energy efficient suspension system giving a refined and comfortable ride. The Chameleon can folded into a carry bag or a ‘normal’ suitcase for easy transportation. The Chameleon is available in 3 colors (black, yellow and titanium), the bike is available in several build options as well as a frameset alone.

What others are saying:

When you own an Airnimal Chameleon, you’re on easy street. This globe-hopping road racer (Airnimal can build you a touring or mountain bicycle, too) is custom built to fit you perfectly so right out of its suitcase you’ll hit the road and feel at home, riding as comfortably and efficiently as you do on your favorite machine on your local loops. Which means you can join a local club ride or try for a new personal record on a century, no worries.

Plus, Airnimal ( in this case is My Bike Shop) will build your bike exactly as you wish. I was lucky enough to test a 56cm Chameleon built exactly for me and spec’d with Shimano’s beautiful Ultegra 30-speed group. It fit identically to my custom bikes and set-up was as simple as adjusting the seat and installing my clipless pedals.

Surprisingly, you might even like the Airnimal more than your everyday bike because there are several enhancements resulting in a most impressive ride. First is the massive-diameter 7005-aluminum main frame with unified-rear-triangle swingarm, which ensures awesome climbing, cornering and acceleration — and that attracts compliments every time you pass someone.”

Chameleon Frame, Steerer Extender & Fork: $1200

Chameleon Gazelle: $2599

Chameleon Shimano 105: $3199

Chameleon Shimano Ultegra: $3499

Chameleon SRAM Rival: $3799

These bikes are chosen for the true trekker.

Stumbled on Embacher collection for what you can do with the Airnimal, makes me WANT one!

Dahon emerges top again (3 years in a row) in the Nocturne Series

In a race dominated by British brands, Dahon emerges again the fastest in the race. The competitors, dressed in business attire will wait 30m away from their folded bikes, at the drop of the British Flag the competitors run to their steeds building them as fast as they can and setting off on a 5 lap dash.

Keith Henderson is the “Armstrong” of folding bikes in these Nocturne Series!  This year among 97 riders, Keith rode on his MuEX and watch him in the Youtube videos. In true commuter spirit, winner takes all – there’s no second chance when it comes to catching your train… Despite the fierce competition, barging and even a little cheating as commuters race to prove their skills. Keith came out tops!

As the winner, he was crowned the 2010 Folding Bike Champion and received a Dahon Speed Pro TT as their trophy.

Prize presentation. That guy must have like THREE SpeedPro TTs as prizes LoL!
